1. Do I have to be a marketing major to join AMA?
No, we welcome and invite everyone to join AMA whether you are a marketing major or not. Marketing is essential to every person and it is important to learn a few marketing tactics!
2. What are the benefits of AMA?
By joining AMA you are gaining marketing experience, a way to connect and build your network, community service experience, leadership skills, workshops, etc. There are many benefits to joining AMA especially if you are looking for a way to find a community on campus and be involved. AMA gets you out of your comfort zone and allows you to grow professionally and personally.
3. How much are memberships?
There are 2 different membership packages — essential and pro packages. For the essential package, it is $50 per semester. For the pro package, it is $80 for one year (two semesters). You can find the different benefits between the 2 packages here.
4. How can I join AMA?
You can join AMA in 5 easy steps:
Fill out this Google form to let us know that you are interested.
Choose between the essential and pro package.
Make your payment by Venmoing us (@amacpp) the package amount.
Then, pay a $29 undergrad student membership fee to AMA National.
Attend meetings, workshops, conferences, networking events and more!
