JU4Y is a youth mentorship program that is local in Pomona. CPP AMA attends their mentorship nights where we spend time with the youth. These children are often struggling with various collective trauma and we hope that by sharing a mentor night and being present with them, we can offer a safe space.
Hollingworth Elementary
Hollingworth Elementary school located in West Covina, just about 15 minutes away from our campus. Every other week, we write pen pal letters to the students of Hollingworth with hopes to build a mentor relationship with the students. In the Spring, CPPAMA will make a visit to the school and do an interactive presentation about what it’s like to be a Cal Poly Student to promote higher education.

Kellogg Elementary
Kellogg Elementary school is just about 5 minutes away from our campus. Once every semester we visit Kellogg to help with beautification days with efforts to help make the campus a more enjoyable place for students.
Light The Night
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society hosts an annual charity event — “Light The Night” and this event strives to raise awareness and funding for research. Through this event, people are able to support a great cause and those who are impacted.
